When summer in Kiev reaches its height so it is thirty degrees in the shade here comes the best time to make a short get away to the sea shore! And this is exactly what we decided to do. We have grabbed with both arms five three-month-old girls and younger Izi, loaded them into the car and left for the International FIFe Show in Odessa.
There was a lot Abyssinians on the show – partner catteries Sarafanny*UA and Ptit Prince d’Or*UA based in Odessa, previous generations of Neshamah Sheli*UA kittens Dilia (Delaja Neshamah Sheli*UA) and Laty (Eilat Neshamah Sheli*UA). It is important to mention that positive and friendly atmosphere of the show was surely cause by beautiful whether, see surf and refined elegance of Odessa city. Among 200 cats that participated the show Abyssinians have presented themselves in a bright and attractive manner: Dilia, Laty and Sima Sarafanny*UA have successfully gained their certificates in open class, Abyssinians from Ptit Prince d’Or*UA have been nominated for the Best of Best Show and won Best Adult prize. As for our five “K” girls they have managed to get the nomination for the Best of Best Show two days in raw from Luigi Comorio (Italy) and Elena Noskova (Russia) and won Best Litter prize on 1st and 2nd days of the Show! Kittens have amazed experts with the premium coat quality, nice temperament and, of course, by their evenness. Well, it is not easy to find five Abyssinian beauties at the same time.

But according o the alternative vote counting the title of the most outstanding Abyssinian of the Show has been awarded to Laty. Because after the Show he did not go home to have some rest as all regular cats, but visited beach site in order to enjoy the sunset on the Black Sea and… to have some swim! Here are some proves of Laty on the Arcadia beach in Odessa breaking the stereotype of cats being scared of the water.

At the end of the day one girl Kazti met her new owners in Odessa – Elena Krivtsova and her daughter. Ladies were so happy to take the kitten to Sebastopol where they live. Little Kazti, we wish you good luck!
